چکیده

Abstract: The positional validation of datasets is an important step for cartography studies since it allows learning about its accuracy, and also indicates the data process quality. However, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) have some additional challenges when compared to optical images due geometric distortions. We employ existing targets such as traffic signs lampposts in scene identify them on image control points. performed geographic coordinates used planialtimetric points, using both amplitude backscattering orthoimage Digital Terrain Model (DTM) generated from InSAR system. employed NMAS, ASPRS NSSDA tests along with information by Brazilian Standards. This showed these points presented following results 1:10,000 scale: NMAS test - class “A” PEC PEC-PCD; RMSE x = 1.317m, y 1.231m z 1.145m; r 1,802m, Precision 3.118m 2.244m. These prove we can use proposed meet expected quality generation geotechnic products scale.

Modified U-Slot Stacked Micro-Strip Patch Antenna for Ultra-Wideband Applications in S Band, C Band and X Band

The U-slot micro-strip patch antennas were originally developed for bandwidth broadening applications. This study presents a transmission line feed to modify the U-slot stacked rectangular micro-strip patch antenna for Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) communications. The modified antenna has a U-cut loaded with parallel slits and corner slots and is printed on a dielectric substrate of FR4 with relative p...

use of high-resolution x-band weather radar for areal rainfall estimation in small catchments

abstract obtaining reliable precipitation observations is important for hydrological simulations and weather forecasting. radar data can provide insight in the spatial variation of precipitation and can also detect large areas of rain and estimate rainfall rates. weather radar systems nearly always operate in s-, c- or x-band. since x-band systems require smaller antennas than those at c- or s-...

Presenting a Morphological Based Approach for Filtering The Point Cloud to Extract the Digital Terrain Model

The Digital terrain model is an important geospatial product used as the basis of many practical projects related to geospatial information. Nowadays, a dense point cloud can be generated using the LiDAR data. Actually, the acquired point cloud of the LiDAR, presents a digital surface model that contains ground and non-ground objects. The purpose of this paper is to present a new approach of ex...

Mapping from High-Resolution Airborne Dual-Band SAR Data

We study feature selection and classification for a land-cover mapping task from airborne high resolution AeS-1 data in radar Xand P-Band. The studied feature selection methods are the well-established sequential addition of features to an initially empty feature set and genetic algorithm search, both based on statistical distance measures, and exhaustive evaluation based on actual classifier p...

Design and Simulation of an X Band LC VCO

In this paper, a systematic method for the circuit parameters design of a monolithic LC Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) is reported. The method is based on the negative resistance generation technique. As a result, a VCO has been designed in 0.18um CMOS technology using a conventional VCO structure to obtain the optimum values for the phase noise and power consumption. The simulation result...
